Tim Wallis serves as an Agile Coach for Red Hat, the open source Linux company recently acquired by IBM for $34 Billion. Mr. Wallis leads agile adoptions and transformation for some of the nation’s largest institutions. Red Hat’s agile work covers a wide range of areas related to systems design, value delivery, and process improvement.
Prior to joining Red Hat, Mr. Wallis served as Senior Scrum Master for Lowe’s Home Improvement HQ and Agile Coach for Levvel.io where Mr. Wallis oversaw projects for organizational transformation totaling $25 Million.
Mr. Wallis also ran for state senator from Charlotte and Huntersville (38th North Carolina District). His area of policy focus during the campaign was a system wide reform of education, with the goal of merging the tech world’s approaches to software delivery with the process of delivering educational content.
Mr. Wallis graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a with a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering.
Mr. Wallis now lead Turq, a platform which seeks to disrupt the think tank and lobby industries by leveraging technology and prove crowd-sourcing principles to alter the path by which citizens engage with the process of drafting legislation.
