What is the ROOTS Methodology?
The ROOTS Methodology is your guide to living a more consciously driven and intention-based life. Our methodology comprises five phases of specialized self-awareness and self-management training to be used as a tool to deepen your sense of inner-peace and connection to your authentic self.
In other words, this methodology serves as a guide to create a like-minded and like-hearted community of practitioners habitually driven to practice emotional intelligence and mindfulness.
Getting started with the ROOTS Methodology
Before diving into details, it’s important to clarify the concepts of living intentionally. ROOTS utilizes components of neuroscience, psychology, and engineering to solidify a powerful foundation for building habits that increase both self awareness and self management skills. We believe self-awareness is generated by developing positive habits integrated with mindfulness and emotional intelligence.

Combining Mindfulness & Emotional Intelligence
As Jim Rohn famously said, "Motivation is what gets you started, Habit is what keeps you going."
ROOTS adopts this mentality by opening individuals up to the thought of "living on purpose." The goal is to build practices of emotional intelligence and mindfulness so that they become embedded in your life as daily habits.
As you continue to master your emotional awareness skills, there is a point throughout the practice where you learn how to use your emotions to keep you grounded and aligned with the version of you, you want to be.
The Origins of the ROOTS Methodology
The creators of the ROOTS methodology are systems engineers who, in their mid-20s, realized that the traditional western practices of schooling, working, and relationships were not creating genuine feelings of inner peace or personal fulfillment.
Integrating their knowledge of process engineering with a combined interest in neuroscience, they were able to recognize the foundational components at the intersection of joy, peace, purpose and clarity.
As a species, our first subconscious act in this world is to take a breath. The ROOTS Methodology uses this act (the breath) as a bridge to work with our subconscious mind.
After further research on building self-awareness and mindful practices, ROOTS. was developed as an integrative starting point.
