Through this discovery, and their lived experiences, Justin and Kevin were led to create Habitual Roots as a nonprofit organization. |
They built what they felt was needed most – a positive community for those looking to live a heathy and balanced lifestyle; a community centered around wellness and affordable access to practices that combat mental illness and its symptoms.
Who We Serve
Habitual Roots primarily focuses on supporting the millennial generation (late 20's to mid-late 40's). That said, we have and welcome those in other generational age groups.

What we focus on
Habitual Roots maintains a mindfulness-based community in Charlotte, NC and Denver, CO. All programming is designed to support the development of emotional intelligence and enhance mental and emotional well-being.
We believe all people need: A safe space, resources, supportive habits, and deep relationships in order to establish a healthy well-being. It is our focus to: Provide preventative programming and resources to help reduce symptoms of mental illness for young-middle age adults, families, and those in the workplace. |
Stress, anxiety, and loneliness are three of the top contributors and symptoms tied to mental illness experienced today; which is why our programs are specifically designed to alleviate these unfortunate symptoms as listed above.
We measure levels of confidence, self-awareness, and likelihood to get involved in the community after attending our programs. We also measure levels of anxiety, loneliness, stress, happiness, and overall energy of program participants. |
